With the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commissions Calls to Action in 2015, equitable employment opportunities and addressing employment gaps between Indigenous and non-Indigenous employees has become a growing consideration in Canada. In addition to social responsibility, there are many business reasons for hiring Indigenous Peoples.
In this course, learn about the business case for hiring Indigenous Peoples, and factors to consider in the recruitment and retention of Indigenous employees. Some topics that will be addressed include:
- barriers to employment
- community outreach
- cultural considerations for interviews
- challenges for retention

Refund & cancellation policy:
Our fee is refundable, less a $100 fee if the registration is cancelled between 4 weeks and 2 weeks (10 business days) before the start of the training, or less a $200 fee if the registration is cancelled within 2 weeks (10 business days) of the training date. The registration can be transferred to another location or date - a fee of $100 will be applied. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule training, refuse admission, or change speakers, location, or content.
